The call for reparations is growing each day. Collective Reparations is here to nurture a reparative culture and economy. Engaging with this space helps us offer reparations to Black & Native farmers in an effort to redress the intergenerational experience of systemic injustices they face each day.
Collective Reparations was created by Christopher Rachal, a descendant of the Cane River Creole community, in honor of their ancestor Marie Thérèse Coincoin (pronounced KoKwē), who liberated herself, her children, and grandchildren.
